Our Story

Bryant and Charity grew up with a similar background: experience showing horses in 4-H, taking huge roles in their county fairs, and a passion for horses. The University of Findlay brought them together to tackle the equine industry, and they wouldn't want it any other way. Bryant and Charity have both always wanted to be horse trainers, and with your help they are making dreams come true! Both have been learning, training, showing, and caring for horses as long as they have been able to walk. You can trust BC Quarter Horses with your horses because their health and care are at the top of our priority list, and we know how much they mean to you.

Where it all started

.... a couple horses and a dream

Dee

Dee Only Chip is Charity's childhood horse. Charity showed Dee in 4-H as a youth, and they went to open shows with success. As Charity went off to college, Dee stayed at home but not for long. Charity packed Dee up for a semester at University of Findlay. She stayed for the following summer learning some more advanced skills like the lead change; she also enjoyed carrying small fry kids to success in the show pen!

Lexi

Lexi is Bryant's childhood horse that sparked a passion to be a horse trainer. Lexi is a gaited horse that carried Bryant through his 4-H years! In addition to trail riding, she showed in gaited classes and speed events with much success at the 4-H level and state fair. As Bryant went off to college at University of Findlay, Lexi was leased out, and still lives the good life on her pastures making her new family happy.

Then we got better

              .... University of Findlay

Bryant and Charity both decided to pursue their passion for the horse and started school in 2016.

Bryant double majored in western equestrian studies and business management.  Charity double majored in western equestrian studies and equine business management. Both have also completed master's degrees at UF. Bryant: master's in education & Charity: master's in business administration.

Both competed very successfully on the IHSA team and together, were selected as the team riders for UF 5 times. Additionally, they worked under world class trainers and had instruction from some of the best in the industry--Clark Bradley, Art O'Brien, Cindy Morehead, Spencer Zimmerman, Randy Wilson, Meri Marsh, Mark Smith and Jerry Coleman.

And we keep growing

.... one horse at a time

In 2020, "An Innocent Tail" became the first horse that Bryant and Charity purchased together. Ella proved to be a very kind-hearted horse. She was a phenomenal horse for Bryant and Charity to start their business with. During her time with BC Quarter Horses, she accrued points in the western pleasure, horsemanship, equitation, and western riding.
